Mechatronics 2018

The 18th International Conference on Mechatronics – Mechatronika 2018 will be held during December 5 – 7, 2018, Brno, Czech Republic. The program will consist of contributed papers, there will be no more than two parallel sessions, depending upon topic grouping. Themes will be drawn from, but not limited to the following: Modeling and Simulation, Robotics, Actuators and Control, Power Electronics, Information and Communication Technologies, Industrial Applications, Energy Harvesting, Sensors, Measurement and Diagnostics, Military Technologies, Biomechatronics, Industry 4.0, Education.
All papers presented at the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and Web of Science to include in their databases. Please note that papers not presented during the conference will not be indexed in the databases. Conference proceedings published in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016 are indexed by IEEE Xplore, Scopus and Web of Science databases.

The Mechatronics conferences series is held by rotation in Czech Republic and Poland and it is the oldest of mechatronic conferences in Eastern Europe, with the first conference held in 1996. The increasing quality of the papers published at the conferences can be illustrated by the fact that since 2007 the Proceedings are published by Springer Verlag publishers (see 2007, 2009 and 2011 proceedings on Springer web pages). Applied Mechanics 2011
(18. - 20. 4. 2011 Velké Bílovice, Czech Republic)
The objective of the conference Applied Mechanics 2011 is especially to create a possibility for meeting and presentation of scientific works of doctoral students and young scientific workers. The organizers allow themselves to invite also other candidates from scientific and academic workers, who are interested in meeting with scientific work of novice colleagues.
The official languages of the conference will be English, Czech, Polish and Slovak. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
The conference proceedings with ISBN with contributions of participants will be published. Contributions will be written in English. The authors of chosen contributions will be able to publish the full texts of contribution (after peer review) in the special issue of journal Engineering Mechanics (ISSN 1802-1484).
